Pillar: Community Engagement

Shaping A Creative City Together

Our Community Engagement projects bring people together through heritage, art and culture. Working alongside artists, community groups, young people and cultural organisations, we create opportunities for residents to connect, learn, and get involved in shaping the city’s cultural scene.

From artist networks and commissions to heritage projects and leadership opportunities, our programmes are built on collaboration and equity. Together, we’re building a vibrant cultural ecosystem where communities aren’t just taking part, they’re shaping the city’s future. Because culture belongs to all of us!

Our Community Engagement projects include:

Community Events and Festivals: Celebrating community events and building national and international partnerships

Artist Commissions: bold projects connecting communities and celebrating Peterborough’s culture

Networks and forums: building connections between communities, creatives, teachers and cultural organisations.
